	The WHO Western Pacific Region Health Promoting School Registry was officially launched on 8 July 2006. We are honored to have Dr Linda Milan, Director of Building Healthy Communities and Populations of WHO Western Pacific Region, Dr KK Chan, Principal Assistant Secretary (Curriculum Development) of the Education and Manpower Bureau, Government of HKSAR, Dr Regina Ching, Assistant Director of Health (Health Promotion), Centre for Health Protection of Department of Health, Government of HKSAR accompanied by Professor Albert Lee and Mrs. Frances Cheng, Director and Vice Director of Centre for Health Education and Health Promotion of The Chinese University of Hong Kong to jointly officiate the launching ceremony.
